The three bottle gift selection includes;

  • One bottle of the 2017 Garden & Field Gnadenberg Road Shiraz. Grown & on a single estate in the iconic red wine region of Barossa. The Gnadenberg Road Shiraz is handcrafted and made 100% on the estate. A total production of 40 cases was handcrafted from dry grown Shiraz vines; established on own roots in red clay over sandy loam soils and multi clone selections. Extremely limited and available exclusively through cellar door.
  • Two bottles of  2017 Garden & Field Cabernet Sauvignon & Refosco Blend. A first release and the only vineyard of Refosco red wine grapes in South Australia. Viticulturist and wine maker Peter Raymond discovered this variety while managing vineyards for Brown Brothers in Victoria and knew the Refosco grape would grow exceptionally well in Barossa's high country; just like it has always done in the homeland of northern Italy. An extremely limited production of one barrel, the Cabernet grapes grow alongside the Refosco grapes and as they ripened together, the blend of the two grapes made sense. Hand picked, pressed and fermented together, the two grape varieties were left on skins with gentle hand plunging daily for approximately six weeks before barrel ageing for 22 months in seasoned French oak. You'll find this wine alluring to say the least. Highly aromatic with delicate notes of spice and violets; the colour intensity is deep and very dark red.
  • Detailed Wine Tasting Notes will be included

Further cellaring will allow these wines to develop in bottle (20+ years) but can be enjoyed now if desired. A decant before consuming is recommended; 2-3 hours.
