Chaffey Bros. Wine Co. Synonymous Shiraz

Vineyard:  Barossa low yielding Shiraz vines.

Season: The dry season and spring frosts proved challenging for the growing season. December and early January was warm with rain which rejuvenated grape bunches and vine canopies. The Shiraz fruit ripened slowly with outstanding colour and aromas, delivering an exceptional vintage.

Wine making: New and seasoned French and American oak.

Appearance: Deep dark red with purple hues.

Aroma/Bouquet: Bright and lifted berries and plums.

Palate: Delicious black fruits with elegance and earthiness. Soft texture intertwines an array of concentrated ripe red fruits with notes of liquorice, soy and dark bitter chocolate.

Food Pairing: Slow cooked Beef cheeks, hearty Mushroom Risotto, Guinness and Beef pie.
