Barossa Valley Rosé Winery Of The Year - Melbourne International Wine Competition
Vineyard: Located in southern Barossa Valley in the Lyndoch region. These premium, old Grenache and Mourvèdre vines is regarded as Chaffey’s best parcel of wine grapes.
Season: Exceptional quality was achieved from the 2020 vintage but extremely limited quantities produced, due to the lower than average rainfall recordings. Appearance: Pink, Salmon
Aroma/Bouquet: Delicate perfume with hints of rose petals, toffee apples and fairy floss.
Palate: Bursting with summer freshness, it’s light, yet delicate with a dry and crunchy palate. Texture will come with bottle age but consuming in its youth offers fruits of strawberries, raspberries and royal gala apples.
Food Pairing: Fresh seafood, Thai Green Curry, spicy cuisine. Serve chilled.

Barossa Valley GSM (Grenache 80% Shiraz 15% Mataro 5%)
Vineyard: Old vines on a single vineyard located in the heart of the Barossa Valley in the Gomersal region. These vines are hand managed to capture the essence of our three most loved varieties; Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro (Mourvedre).
Season: Generous late winter rains replenished the soil profile followed into Spring. Consistent warm summer days with cool nights allowed for perfect slow ripening, maximizing plush grapes loaded with flavour. The vintage will be long remembered as an exceptional one.
Winemaking: A field blend of whole bunches were hand harvested, then gently crushed and naturally fermented in open fermenters for 14 days. The fermented grape juice was then carefully basket pressed into some seasoned French oak barriques to mature for a further 12 months.
Appearance: Youthful and bright red/purple hues.
Aroma/Bouquet: A delightful bouquet of childhood memories with sweet confectionery aromas of fairy floss, toffee apples and strawberry conserve. A delicate and a soft scent of nutmeg spice with French oak.
Palate: A mouthful of plush, juicy red berries form around layers of dark fruits such as blackberries and mulberries. There's texture and spicy notes with a hint of liquorice, dark chocolate and black pepper. The finish is dry with acidity and fine tannin lingering to a medium bodied red wine finish.
