2018 Eden Hall Wines Eden Valley Riesling

Barossa - Eden Valley Riesling

Vineyard: The Riesling was carefully blended from three different blocks within the Avon Brae Vineyard.

Season:  Eden Valley received good winter rains which set the growing season off to a good start. Flowering was consistent with bunches setting well and generous quantities expected. Summer was warm and dry with the added benefit of Eden Valley's high altitude allowing cool evening's and breezes to assist with wine grapes maintaining freshness and high levels of natural acidity.

Appearance: Pale straw in colour.

Aroma/Bouquet: A perfumed nose of frangipani and rose with a hint of apple.

Palate: The palate is broad including tropical fruits, luscious lime juice and lemon with lip smacking acidity providing a clean finish.

Food Pairing: Great match with seafood, Asian cuisine or full flavoured dishes such as Thai Chicken Curry. Fabulous on a hot Summer’s day to cope with the heat.

Residual Sugar: 2.95 g/L
