Vineyard: Sourced from low yielding vineyards throughout the Barossa region.

Appearance: Deep red with bright purple hue.
Aroma/Bouquet: Bright and lifted berries with plums and a slight peppery aroma.
Palate: Uncomplicated, easy drinking and seriously an enjoyable summer wine. Savoury, with ripe lifted red berries smash your palate, white pepper in the background.

Barossa - Eden Valley - Riesling Semi - Sweet Wine
Vineyard: Four tonne of Riesling fruit was sourced from a neighboring vineyard in Eden Valley, machined picked in the cool of the evening.
Season: The 2016 vintage had a dry start through the winter, followed by a warm spring. This encouraged flowering to begin with a high expectation of flowers developing into fruit set. Minimal disease pressure was a positive but challenging with the summer season; dry and extremely hot. By the end of December some rain was received with a decent rainfall in March. The vintage harvest was earlier than expected but given the warm and dry season was a relief to grapevines; in particular old dry grown vines.
Wine making: NA
Appearance: light straw & green hues
Aroma/Bouquet: Vibrant lifted floral perfume with lemon citrus that overlays notes of kiwi fruit, green apples and musk.
Palate: Ripe nectarine, apple with soft lemon and lime sorbet on the finish. A medium dry sweetness on the palate, the wine develops texture and depth with vibrant acidity.
Food Pairing: Spicy cuisine or as a dessert wine enjoyed with cheese plates and lemon meringue pie.
Residual Sugar: 24 g/L
Production: 230 dozen (750ml)
Cellar potential: 5+ years
Wine maker: Christa Deans
Vineyard: The vineyard is located in the heart of the Eden Valley wine region, noted for high elevation with cool evening temperatures which is essential for premium white wine production. 100% estate grown Gewurztraminer.
Season: The vintage began with well below-average winter rainfall, followed by a warm and dry spring which enhanced flowering and set to deliver average to above-average yield potential. Low disease pressure was maintained by one of the hottest Decembers on record, when temperatures cooled down and rainfall began in late January, verasion had arrived. The fruit matured with an earlier harvest as predicted. Open vine canopies allowed air flow to develop fruit structure and sugars. Overall characterised by average yields with very high quality.
Wine making: Hand picked Gewurztraminer bunches were gently pressed to extract juice and maintain the delicate aromatic qualities of the variety. Fermented until dry to capture a light and crisp wine style.
Appearance: Pale straw
Aroma/Bouquet: The nose is delicate and elegant, with hints of musk and apple blossom underpinned by citrus lime.
Palate: A refreshing and aromatic wine variety showcasing lychee fruit with a touch of grapefruit, lemon zest and black pepper. Perfumed with nutmeg spice leads to a light and dry finish on the back palate.
Food Pairing: Spicy Asian or Indian cuisine, Moroccan Tagine or a selection of fruity cheddar cheese.
